Intercom's startup program, called Early Stage, gives new customers with up to $10M in funding and fewer than 15 employees 93% off in year one, 50% off in year two and 25% off in year three, starting from $65 a month. Year one includes a free year of Fin AI Agent with 300 outcomes and 15 qualifications per month; phone, SMS, WhatsApp and extra Fin outcomes are charged at list price.

Intercom's Early Stage Program gives small, newly funded teams its AI-first helpdesk at a steep, stepped discount over three years, plus a free year of the Fin AI Agent. It is limited to teams under 15 people who are not current Intercom customers.

How the credits are applied and when they expire

A discount, not credits. The 93% applies to the plan and to usage-based costs for email, pro conversations over 1k/month, messages sent over 500/month and seats beyond 6. It doesn't cover extra Fin outcomes ($0.99 each) or qualifications ($9.99 each), phone, SMS or WhatsApp, which are billed at list price. The discount steps down each year; switching to a self-serve or sales-led plan forfeits the year-2 and year-3 discounts.
