Aiven Startup Program: credits for managed open-source data services
Credit amount (provider's words)
From $12,000 up to $100,000 in Aiven credits over 12 months
As stated by Aiven; not a guarantee. Aiven decides who is approved.
The Aiven startup program gives early-stage companies between $12,000 and $100,000 in Aiven credits to use over 12 months on managed open-source data services such as Apache Kafka, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, OpenSearch and Valkey. Your credit tier depends on your growth stage and funding, and you need either external funding (pre-seed to Series B) or an affiliation with one of Aiven's accelerator, incubator or co-working partners.
Aiven for Startups gives credits for Aiven's managed open-source data services (Kafka, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, OpenSearch, Valkey and more) for 12 months. The credit tier depends on your stage and funding. You need either VC funding or a link to one of Aiven's partner accelerators, incubators or co-working spaces.

How the credits are applied and when they expire
Apply at aiven.io/startups with your company email, funding stage and investor or partner details. Once accepted, book the required kickoff session from Aiven's email; credits then cover Aiven services for 12 months and expire at the end of the programme. If you aren't ready to use them yet, say so in the form so the start date can be adjusted. Extensions are not guaranteed.
